Olivia then pieces together the truth: Claire shows her security footage of Colton stealing the Visine bottle, and Colton confesses in the empty courtroom that he recognized Olivia from Tony Vega's article, sent Frank Holford (the man she knew as Jack) to investigate and scare her, followed her himself, saw Winston propose, stole the Visine bottle from Claire's yard, went to Winston's suite, punched him, and spiked his eye drops with meth to frame Olivia. Detective Stanek arrests Colton, and Olivia's murder charges are dismissed. Colton later takes a plea deal and is charged in two other cases.
