It asks uncomfortable questions about guilt, forgiveness, and the stories we tell ourselves. That makes it ideal for a group, because everyone will have a different read on the characters' choices.
Use these questions as a starting point, not a script. You can go in order or jump to the topic that sparks the liveliest debate. Some questions are about plot twists, while others dig into motivation and morality. Let each person share what stood out to them, and don't worry if you disagree. That is where the best conversations begin.
The Finger and the Investigation
- 1.Lottie faints and Anna identifies the severed finger as real before anyone knows whose it is. Were you surprised when Clara Long turned out to have cut it from a corpse to expose Melody, or did the finger's bizarre arrival feel like it was always going to connect back to the Montclairs?

- 13.Madeline suspects Perfect Boyfriend of love bombing, but he later saves Iris from a computer scam and buys Fred's flights. Did that change your opinion of him, or did Abigail's pregnancy at the end make you still worry about her choices?
- 14.Celeste decides to end things with Marco, saying she is choosing sanity over insanity, and then discovers he is the father of Melody's former student Betty. Was Celeste right to pull back, or was she letting Perry's shadow make the decision for her?
