The Man in the Photo Characters
by MCGARVEY BLACK

This cast is a mix of family, grifters, and bystanders. Shannon Hunter anchors the story as Alan's fiancée and later single mother, while Alan Frye, also known as James Mahoney, drives much of the trouble through charm, debt, and reinvention. Around them sit Margot, Danielle, Jessie, Ranee, and a long trail of people pulled into Alan's orbit.
On this page you will find each character's role, short description, key relationships, and story arc, from Shannon's suspicions and Margot's guarded memories to the bookies, clients, friends, and lovers who cross their paths.
