This character guide covers arcs across the whole book and may contain spoilers.

This is a big, messy, lovable cast grounded by two stubborn people who are clearly meant for each other. Bennett is a patient, possessive MLB player who has been in love with his sister's best friend for years, and Bower is the wary best friend trying to build a new life in San Francisco. Around them orbit family, teammates, bosses, and friends who push, tease, and meddle.

On this page you will find every character from the story, from the Gladdy Daddies group chat to the driver who opens doors. Each listing gives you their role, a quick description, how they fit into the bigger arc, and who they are connected to. Use this as your cheat sheet for who is who, no need to keep scrolling back.
