This character guide covers arcs across the whole book and may contain spoilers.

This novel has a big, busy cast. Finley and Lincoln anchor it: she is rebuilding after leaving Davis, and he is a protective single dad and law enforcement officer. Around them are Asa, friends, coworkers, family, and a few troublemakers.

On this page, you will find character roles, short descriptions, key arcs, and relationships. It covers everyone from Collins and Theo to Maggie, Cathy, the DEA team, ranch folks, lawyers, and even Rocky the horse. Supporting players matter here too.
